Reading: John 17:1-19Continuing his thoughts about prayer, Dave talks about the way in which everything Jesus did was in line with the Father’s will: He said, “I do nothing on my own initiative“. In the same way, our prayer lives must be much more than a ‘shopping list’. We need to be cultivating a life of prayer which continually draws us deeper into the Lord’s will for our lives.
Why do we pray? How do we pray? When do we pray? In this morning’s message, Dave talks about the centrality of prayer; the need to fully embrace what it means to be a friend of God in our ongoing conversation with Him. Readings: Luke 11:1-13, 1 Tim 2:1-7
